Social Leaders is a practical training program for youth, aged 18 - 27, who will be trained by professionals and advanced speakers to help them harness their energies and channel them to create valuable social change. Participants will be exposed to case studies and experienced trainers who will broaden their horizons to develop their leadership skills and social responsibility. The aim is to allow the participants to become familiar with how to design a social initiative, how to tackle problems that they face in their societies with a positive approach and provide them with appropriate, effective tools to build and implement the solutions for those challenges.
The program will be divided into 2 phases: a 3-days interactive workshop and a 2-months mentorship and coaching phase. The aim of the training workshop is to develop social initiatives targeting concrete community needs and tackle them towards the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The training will be followed by a 2-months mentorship and coaching period, where the participants will further develop their ideas and plan for the implementation. At the end of this phase the participants will present their project proposal to a pitching deck and the best three initiatives will be awarded.
The festival aims to promote and advertise the diversified dairy products in Amman governorate. The products are produced by local women producers either in the formal sector or at the level of home-based businesses.
Social Leaders ESA will be an intensive 2-day Social Leaders workshop with the students of ESA Business School. This 2-session workshop will provide a platform for these students to develop socially responsible projects focusing on social and environmental needs analysis, design thinking, and impact modelling. The workshop will be followed by a presentation session where participants will have the chance to showcase their project ideas where they will receive constructive feedback in addition to the needed guidance that will be provided by our CSR Al Ahli team.
This year the Social Leaders Program is ready for its international jump by bring participants from Italy and Lebanon to Aqaba, Jordan, for a one-week program. During this week the participants will have a mix of seminars and workshops with prominent speakers and trainers as well as a substantial part of fieldwork to learn both the theoretical framework and the practical implementation of social initiatives. Throughout the program, several cultural activities will be organized to enhance the interaction between the attendees coming from different countries and the participants will have a chance to visit Jordanian heritage sites such as Petra and Wadi Rum.
In harmony with the Jerash Community Leadership and Sustainability Campaign, CSR Al Ahli Group aims to establish a gender sensitive “Women Empowerment Forum” in the Jerash Governorate serving women residing in the village. The purpose of the center is to provide access to quality information, integrated activities and safe working space for women to build practical skills and knowledge, as well as providing networking and interaction opportunities. Additionally, the forum will be used to promote the production of local products such as olives, honey, dairy products and many more.
Women for Business 2019 will recover its international spirit and will enable 10 women entrepreneurs and business leaders from the Middle East to travel to Chengdu, China, and work closely with their Chinese peers. The aim of the program is to establish new connections and partnerships that can support outstanding women entrepreneurs in scaling up their companies and in contributing towards the global goal of women inclusion.
