CSR in Action is the second longest-running program of the department and was conceptualized to bring a three-way impact:

1- To develop the concept of Corporate Social Responsibility through inter-sectoral dialogue (involving the government, private sector and community development authorities)

2- To engage the Arab youth for a hands-on approach to social responsibility

3- To better align regional CSR practices with community needs

Held yearly since 2011, the 6-day CSR in Action brings together influencers from the UN Global Compact, MNE CSR and sustainability heads, and successful social entrepreneurs for first hand accounts of social impact creation and measurement. The CSR in Action agenda involves participants generating original ideas for social enterprises, followed by a two-month mentoring program to develop pilots.

CSR in Action has been held in the UAE, Jordan, the UK and Lebanon with partners ranging from Microsoft, Ericsson, Mohammed Bin Rashid Establishment, Ecole Supérieure des Affaires (ESA) and German Jordanian University.
