Entering the Lebanese ecosystem, the Social Leaders was conducted in the northern city of Lebanon in which it supported local youth to develop innovative project ideas for the benefit of the city of Tripoli and other areas of North Lebanon. The program, following a launching event hosted at the Trablos First Foundation headquarters in Tripoli, was held at the University of Balamand at the end of March 2019.

Overall it saw the participation of 24 university students and fresh graduates who benefited from the experience and the professional work of 10 distinguished speakers and trainers.

As a result of the training workshop, 5 different projects were developed and underwent a 3 months phase of mentoring and support for pilot implementation. The projects were inspired by the UN SDGs in which they have covered a variety of topics which are professional orientation services for youth, provision of healthcare, support to elderly people, access to internet, education for children with special needs, as well as awareness raising events about the situation of women in jail and relief activities.

A pitching competition signed the end of the program and saw Shabab-lek, an elderly care initiative, winning a 10,000$ award as seed funding for future expansion provided by Trablos First Foundation in the person of its director, MP Dr. Dima Jamali. Shabab-lek's activities have involved so far over 200 elderly people and it is now in the process of establishing an NGO and a club to be able to provide holistic services to old people in Tripoli and surrounding areas.
